Wow. I am felling very excited to reveal my next review. I love eyeliner as most of you would have probably know by now and eyeliner is my first ever makeup item that I wore, back in my teen years. Not lipstick or foundation but eyeliner. Therefore, I am very choosy when it comes to say the best eyeliner in town.
I have tried several eyeliners, from drugstore to some high end brands like MAC & Urban Decay. Yes, most of them are good comparing to the price that I have to pay. Some drugstores eyeliner are pretty okay as well especially Maybelline Master Drama that I purchased back in Barcelona last year. Oh yes, to me eyeliner must be black and nothing else. I am a very typical person, I don’t know how to go about when it comes to colored eyeliners.
This smart liner is actually from Sephora line. I don’t really fancy Sephora brands except for their foundations. They do have several really nice powder foundation. I don’t fancy their eyeshadows as it does not really that pigmented. Therefore, I don’t really set any expectation for this eyeliner as well. It does not say anything about the eyeliner. No waterproof, no smudging, no nothing. So I am not so sure if it’s waterproof or not.
It is a felt tip pen kind of eyeliner, with the tip is very very sturdy. It feels a little bit hurt when you try to do your line really near the lashes. Do not poke your eyes with this felt tip eyeliner. It is really sharp. Don’t play play with this eyeliner! Haha.
But, with the curvy body it makes it easy to hold and to control the eyeliner. I am pretty blessed to those who actually invented this kind of eyeliner shape. Thank you so much.
As you can see from the picture above, you can control the tip to draw any kinds of lines. Thick, thin you name it. It’s very easy and very simple. Plus, I think it is a waterproof eyeliner cause it is very hard to remove! Even with my trustie Biore eye makeup remover! WOW
Erm, please ignore my messy hair and huge eye bag. This is how it looks like on my eye. Well, I just do it onto my top lashes only. And, it’s pretty black in color. I am not so sure about Benefit’s new eyeliner as the Sephora sales person said that, Benefit has the darkest black eyeliner ever.
A very simple thin line. Easy to do, but hard to remove! haha
Well, you can actually get this eyeliner in any Sephora branches I believe, since it’s Sephora’s brand anyway. One eyeliner costs me RM50. Quite reasonable since it’s very easy to use and it is a really really black ink liner. If you are an eyeliner fan just like me, I think you might want to take a look at this one. :) Do try it out and let me know how you feel about it!
