Jalan Jalan Fraser's Hill (SCC PROSMAC team)

Hello friends! Just would like to share my experience with my fiance to Fraser's Hill last Sunday. It was a one day trip with SCC Prosmac family but it was super fun cause we get to be together and have fun together! It all started around 8am in the morning, at Petronas Gombak near Giant. We waited for the rest of the other teams to arrive and then we shoot to Fraser's Hill around 8.30am from there.

At Petronas, we bought several snacks and water as our snack in time during the trip. It took us about 1 hour to reach Kuala Kubu Bahru via Ulu Yam route.

Once arrived at the dam of Kuala Kubu Bahru, We rested for a while before the rough journey begins. Haha. The route from Ulu Yam to Kuala Kubu Bahru was okay. It was a normal 2 lanes road.

After resting for abour 5 minuties, we drove back again to Fraser's Hill. It took us about 1 hour to reach the top of Fraser's Hill from Kuala Kubu Bahru and the route was...extreame! I have been to Cameron Highland before but i think this one is much more challenging! The corners are quite dangerous and if you collided with another car from the opposite direction, you are doom.

I did recorded a short video of our early journey, right after we had our 5 minutes break. The road here looks a bit promising but when it comes to the inner part of the hill, this is no longer the road that you'll be travelling on. Haha. I was deceived by this road but then when i saw the terrible road in front of us after this road, i was like..Okay, now we really have to be careful.

We arrived at the GAP, I was like okay another 1/2 to go to the peak of Fraser's Hill and this time this road is just one way. There's a warning sign stated that Do not stop in the middle of the road between the hill top and GAP. I was like, what!?

Alhamdulillah we arrived at the peak of Fraser's hill at the Puncak Inn around 11am sharp. While waiting for the others to arrived, we went to the ladies and gents at Puncak Inn. My stomach was growling cause i was super hungry. My fiance was also very hungry so we thought we are going to have lunch at any of the restaurants nearby.

We ended up having a drink at Ye Olde Smokehouse cause the pricing of the foods was expensive! Haha. So, while waiting for our drinks, we took pictures and stuffs just to reminisce the memories. I heard that the scones here is super delicious but it was not tea time yet at the point of time and we were all super hungry. Some of us ordered french fries to feed their children.

I ordered a Cafe Latte and it looks so nice with the layered of milk, which you can see though the glass! No wonder it takes a while for them to prepare the drinks! They made it so nice to look at but sadly the taste is quite blah.

We then took a few group photos in front of Ye Olde Smokehouse and the famous Fraser's Hill clock tower before heading to Raub for food (at last!)

The route down to Raub was none or less the same as the one that we hiked up from Kuala Kubu Bahru.

We had our lunch at Ratha Kari Kepala Ikan (Fish Head Curry) and it was super duper delicious! Thank you Azie for the lunch! Super nice of you! XX

After had our proper meal, all of us went on separate ways and that was the end of our one day trip to Fraser's Hill. I wish we could do something like this again in the future. I love going out and explore new places with friends whom we know are genuine and fun!

Till we meet again,
xx
