Lost & Found

Hello all. Today I just would love to update you on things that has been on my mind for several months now. It’s the lost and found kind of thing. We’ll see, we have lost several things even friends. But we could also found another new things or friends to replace the one that we lost. But sometimes, the items or friend that we found cannot be compared to the one that we lost. Sometimes, the one that we found is much more better than the ones that we lost.

Here, I just want to let you know that it is okay to replace things that has been lost in your life before. There’s nothing wrong with that. Replacing meaning that you have started to grow upfront instead of living still in the past. The past will still and forever be yours. You cannot change the past unless you have been typing all year round and you can just click on the backspace key and just delete everything. Life is not like that. Life is like, learning from the past and use it in the present to make a better future. You lost something in the past, you choose a replacement for it and live with it in the future.

I browsed through my previous entries of this blog. Since 2008. I have grow so fast for the past 5 years. My entry used to be about football, foods, places to go, my university, friends. Nowadays, my entry tends to be about beauty, fashion, events, foods and life. I know, my blog can be a little bit boring sometimes, usually when I posted a lot of BOTD for you to read. I mean, I do have male readers as well before this (not my boyfriend) and they all were like, an avid reader and was my friends. But now, since all of my postings are about beauty and fashion related stuffs, I tend to loose all the male reader but it’s okay. I have no idea that my personal blog is going to be a blog for beauty and fashion and all. I did not set this goal before. I really wanted to still post some things about my life. But since I have minimal friends, it’s hard to update on things that I did. I pretty much do the same thing every single day. Going to work, jogging in the evening and have a bit drinks at TTDI. That’s about it. My life is pretty much boing.

Well, going back to the topic of lost and found, I do hope that you have already gained what you have lost. I have seen most of my friends have already gotten theirs and I am happy for them. I used to be a person who is very very shy and always keeps my mouth shut. But my shitty life has taught me to become shitty at times. So, I was again being found by shitty life to become stronger and wiser. I used to have 0 confidence level but now I have confidence in myself. I used to think that I am ugly but now I know that I am special even though I know I am still ugly. People call me names, people said that I look like a transgender but it’s okay. My long lost life has been found again through my new friends, work life and part time work life. :)

I am lost and had been found again.

BOTD–September Bag-Of-Love

1. Swiss Line Force Vitale Aqua Cream, 50ml (RM368) – This light non greasy cream is said to be applied on the face and neck after serum or even on its own in circular movements. I love the scent of this cream. It’s expensivo!



2. NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Shimmer Multi-Purpose Dry Oil, 100ml (RM198) – At first I saw this, I thought that it’s actually a highlighter product. :D It said to be applied on face, hands and legs for a skin that is radiance from within. It is also applicable through hair to achieve a full volume and shimmering effect. :)



3. O’slee Rosehip Beauty Solution Advanced Formula III, 100ml (RM59.90) – We received a specially made for Bag-of-Love which is the travel size bottle for this item! I love O’slee for its rosy smell and it’s just so light and nice to apply on the face, neck and body.



4. Olay Regenerist Serum, 50ml (RM49.90) – I used to be a HUGE fan of Olay and have been using Olay for all my heart since I was 15 years old. Even my mother is using Olay since she was a teenager. I received this serum and would probably be giving it out to my mother. Apply a generous layer on cleansed face and neck.



5. Eternity Aqua Woman Rollerball EDP, 6ml (RM49) – This item is not being sold in Malaysia. I just love roll on perfumes. It’s easy to apply and very very handy. I know most of you have already smell the scent of this Eternity perfume.



6. RVB Skinlab Diego Dalla Palma Cell Detoxium Purifying Clay Mask, 1 sachet (RM29.90) – It said to be applied a generous layer on cleansed, dry skin once a week for 10 minutes and then rinse. ;)

BOTD–Revlon Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti

Hello ladies! Yeap! I am back! :) Well, I have been missing for the past 3 days as I was really really busy with my work and could not online that much. So, here I am updating my blog again for you guys as usual. This time, I present to you the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti.

I have seen some youtubers have been raving about this product for ages. I myself has several revlon’s lip butter lipsticks and have been loving them. Most of the colors that I owned are actually more towards pinkish and also peaches and also red. Haha. Well, this time I am being a little bit daring to purchase this orange color. As I was purchasing this, I actually did not swatch the color onto my hands at all so I have no idea if the color is going to be a very bright orange or just a subtle ones.



It turns out to be not showing a thing at all onto my lips! Well, I think it did but my lips are kid of dark and not really pigmented so this color just seems like I am wearing a lip balm instead of a colored lip stick. Well, I know the texture is more or so towards a lip balm texture so I cannot expect that this will react like a lipstick. But it does give a bit of an orange sheer look on my lips!

Soul mate

Hello people! Well I have not been blogging for the past few days. It’s not because I am not in the mood or anything, I just don’t know what to blog about! Even up to this point, I have no idea, I just browse through my laptop pictures and saw this picture I took few weeks back. This I believe was on the day where we are going for the Riddick Nuffnang Premier and I was wearing sweater as the movie theater will be so cold during night time and it was raining too. Some people said that we actually look alike. My boyfriend and i. I don’t know. Sometimes I do see similarity, sometimes I was like where the heck are we looking the same? Haha. I guess it was all about the photo angle.

This month, I have been loving off tone pink and champagne eye shadow so much! It’s like the best eye shadow for me for this month. I know everybody has been busy doing fall make up look (which I REALLY REALLY LOVE!) but fall makeup has to wait for a moment for me. I am still embracing my light – medium eye makeup for now. Fall makeup is like quite heavy for me to do every single day. As like the one in the picture below, it was being done by combining two beautiful eye shadow (Urban Decay Naked Palette; Sin & Loreal Infalliable Eye shadow; Naughty Strawberry) with just a black liner on the outer third of my upper lashes. Not so heavy mascara coats and I am off to go! I love love love love this simple look and have been doing these kind of look every single day!

To just add a pop of eye color, I lined my color like the picture below with a purple color (to give it a pop) and that’s just it! (Both picture taken on different day) What kind of makeup look are you currently in love with now? Well, although I love simple look, I am still going to try to do some fall looks soon!

I just LOVE Cakes!

Well, the title says it all! I just love cakes. I am not a chocolate or sweets type of girl. I don’t really like chocolate. It’s just not the right food for me. But when you put a chocolate into a cake, I will eat it. So I am more of a cake type. Anything cake! Anything bake I love it. I can say that I eat more cakes than chocolate in a year. Not just during birthday time. Even on a non special day, I can just buy cake and eat it. Oh my. I just love the show Cake Boss, Fabulous cakes , Caked and all those cake baking shows. Haha. Well, enough obsessed.

I can stay in a cake shop forever! Looking at those colors, templates, baking pans, icing colors, decorations and everything! I just love it! It’s like my second favorite outside place apart from makeup shops. haha. I could say that cooking & baking is my hobby apart from doing makeup and all. I just love to browse some cake pictures and drool over it. :p

Those are some crazy fancy cakes that I could found on internet. Sometimes, I just need something simple like the rainbow sprinkles cake and just eat it at one go! I love sprinkles! I can gag them from the bottle alone! haha. Well, I am a bit crazy when it comes to the food that I love.

Do you love cakes like I do? What type of cake do you usually eat? I usually go for anything! Cheese cakes, chocolate cakes, orange, banana, vanilla what ever! yum!

BOTD–Etude House Look At My Eyes Pearl Eye shadow Base

If you have read my previous entry about Etude House Candy Doll Pencil Liner, you’d know that I do have another makeup item from Etude House that I purchased which is the Look At My Eyes Pearl Eyeshadow Base. I swatch this product and fell in love with it instantly! It’s like a highlighter and a base type of consistency. I really like when it actually does blends in very well and very quickly as well. It did have some glitter particles in it but very very fine as after blending, it’s no longer appear as chunky as before it’s being blended.





As you can see from both of the swatches (I don’t know why I swatch twice, it’s from the same product. Haha) Ad as you can see, the product is actually creamy type and it does have a little tiny chunky glitter in it. But once blended, it’s totally gone, leaves the shining effect onto the skin! It’s so effective if you wanted to use as a highlighter as well, to highlight your cheekbones or nose or cupids bow. ;)

BOTD–Etude House Color Pop Drawing Show Creamy Pencil (Summer 2013 Collection)

Last Monday was a public holiday for Malaysian. As a Malaysian, when it comes to a public holiday, we must have at least an open house or a party, a wedding or just gathering. I had a kenduri last Monday at Shah Alam. After the kenduri, we went to a mall as it was kind of hot and humid so we need a little air conditioned place to just cool down a bit. I choose to go to Paradigm Mall. While wandering around Paradigm mall, we stumbled onto Etude House kiosk and I saw this poster of BUY 1 FREE 1 and I was so damn excited! But then, I did make a pledge to not to buy any more makeup for this month so we just walked away. But before that, I did tested out few pencil liners on my hands.

We took a walk and ended up eating at De Irfaan restaurant. While eating I was thinking weather to purchase the eyeliners or not. Since it’s buy 1 free 1, it would be such a waste that I did not purchase anything at this point of time. So, we ended up going back to the counter and this is what I purchased! I do purchase some eyeshadow base but that’ll be in my next BOTD entry. :)

Like I mentioned to you just now, I swatched some of the pencil liners and some of them were from this line. And then I tried to remove them all from my hands and it just wont come of that easily! Well well well! It just stays put and the only thing that could made me wipe them off were the Biore Cotton Wipes Makeup Remover! From there, I was just like instantly fell in love with these. It comes in some few shades but I only choose these two just to try them out. I will definitely purchase more other colors soon! Especially the ones which looks like a black sparkle and also a pink champagne color. The ones that I bought were in the code number BR403 (brown color) & PK103 (pink color). I cannot read Korean so I don’t know the real name of the pencil. :(



PROS :

CONS :
1. The texture keeps on smudging the cap of the pencil and smudged the pencil body as well when I try to remove the cap. T_T
2. Need to sharpen it up!

Will I recommend this pencil to others?
Hell yeah I will! If you love Etude House, you’d probably have gotten these already as it is such a collectible items from Etude House but if you are quite new to Etude House products, please I strongly recommend you to try these liners. Super pigmented, super affordable and super long lasting!

Will I repurchase these?
Again hell yes! HAHA. I will repurchase if they still have it in stores! :)

* Smudge test. I tried to smudge them by pressing the colors and run my fingers on them quite harshly *

* Waterproof test. I pour water onto the liners and rub them quite hardly. *
