BOTD–Sleek Makeup Blush in Antique

ahadday 023 edit

Good day! Today my entry is about this beautiful Sleek Makeup Blush in Antique. This blush actually is in the same line as the previous Sleek Makeup Eye Shadow Palette that I have done an entry about few days back. To me, it’s such a waste if you did not get the blusher as well as it’s also limited edition.

Sleek is very famous with its blushers and also eye palette. To be one of the most affordable and high quality makeup products, Sleek just needs to improve their customer service that’s all. But that’s a different story all together. But I just HAVE to get this blusher. I love to collect a collectibles of limited edition things like this. Sadly, most of the makeup products are limited edition. HAHA

ahadday 024 edit

At the back of the package, they listed down all the ingredients of this blusher.

ahadday 025 edit

Similar to its Palette sister, this blusher also has a plastic material casing and it is very very compact and I just love the fact that it’s in rectangular shape. I mean, I am also a sucker not onto to makeup items, I am a sucker when it comes to anything squares and rectangular. I am not so much a fan of round shape things. It makes me hard to arrange it inside my drawers, or anywhere! I do have a little bit of an OCD so, yeah. That’s just me. I can just do crazy if my makeup stacks are just not right! I have to arrange every-single-damn-thing! So, now you know a little bit about me. :p

ahadday 028 edit

So, here it is! The blusher! Oh yes, the packaging includes one HUGE mirror as well. No brushes or sponges though but who actually use them anyway? In the palette, it looks boring, dull and not so fun at all. I have this feelings too when I first time open up my Sleek packaging and see the blusher. It looks boring and not yummy. But…

ahadday 029 edit

Once I swatch it. BOOM! Instantly fell in love with this color. I have no words to describe what kind of a color is this. It looks kind of a very light berry/deep plum color with a hint of a sheer silver shimmer to it. Very very nice color and very nice for all skin tone as well. Don’t you just love it? It feels like falling in love for the first time, with a blusher, again. Haha. It does makes sense! I tell you.

So far, I love this blusher. The pigmentation is great and it’s also buildable as well. Very easy to blend and stays on my face nearly 5-6 hours, which is a very good lasting time as I do have a little bit of an oily skin. It could also be a highlighter if you apply it gently onto your cheeks.

If you are so into blushers, you can check out this one. Or maybe other famous blushers by Sleek such as Flamingo, Rose Gold, Pixie Pink and more!

Himalaya Hair Pampering Experience!

IMG_5897 edit

IMG_5898 edit

Hello all! Last Saturday, I was given another chance to go to another The Butterfly Project event at Rupini’s in Bangsar. I have not actually drive my car that far (Yes, Bangsar is quite far for me and my car. manjanya!) and it’s been an enjoyful morning, driving my 17 years old car to Bangsar that day. The night before, I had planned on where to park my car and so on. I decided to park my car in Bangsar Village instead. I did not mind paying for it as long as my car is safe and sound. hehe

I walked from Bangsar Village to Rupini’s, which takes only 2 mins. It’s not that far away. I was alone and was kind of curious how the event would look like. Unlike the event before this which I knew some of the people but this time, I was alone! But, afraid no more I instantly made friends with some beautiful girls as well! One of them reminds me of my best friend, Vanapriya. :)

Upon arrival, I was given a welcome drink (It was a choice between soya milk & sugar cane and I choose soya milk) and also a cross word puzzle and a text to read and find the answer for the cross word. I read them all, and I answered silently.

IMG_5904 edit

Oh by the way, No.10 the answer is BALD. I knew it! I was torn between BALD or FALL. So I just write in FALL instead. LOL.

IMG_5905 edit

The new shampoo range from Himalaya. This is the reason why I was there at Rupini’s. To get my hair pampered by these new lines from Himalaya. Anti-Fall Hair Shampoo. This is the original 100% herbal shampoo and it’s also the only 100% Herbal Shampoo around! It contains no SLS and SLES which stands for Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Well, only chemical people would understand that. But those two S’s could actually made your hair loss even more! It’s sort of like a detergent that could create a foaming parties that could lather once you use the shampoo. That’s why when you shampoo your hair using any shampoo brands that has these two S’s, you’ll get more hair loss. This is not good.

This range of new Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo includes a 2 in 1 shampoo and also a hair cream. The shampoo contains Butea Frondosa which is an important herb for strengthening and activating hair growth. It also contains Eclipta which improves hair texture. The hair cream also includes Eclipta in it, which would made your hair more nicer and it also nourish your hair and lessen the activity of hair loss.

bbq 010 edit

Okay, enough with the scientific terms already. Right after I submitted my cross word puzzle answer sheet, I just took some pictures here and there. The theme for this event is Green and Orange. The balloons and some other decorations are all in either green or orange color.

bbq 013 edit

This is actually the first stop to start the process of the hair pampering session. This is the hair checking station where we will be having our scalp and hair, checked. The lady’s name is Fatimah. She uses some micro hair scope and just took some steady photos on my scalp.

bbq 017 edit

She was explaining to me that, for each holes in the scalp, for healthy and no problemo scalp, each holes cater 3 strings of hair. As you can see mine has only one and some are two, minority are three. So, I am having a hair loss problem which I did not know about it until that day. Thanks to Himalaya and also biggest thanks to The Butterfly Project for this experience! Otherwise, I have no idea that my hair is getting thinner and thinner! :)

bbq 019 esit

So, the oil hair massage is next! They are also using another product by Himalaya which will be launched soon! It’s the yummiest smelling oil I have ever encountered. It’s a good oil and you need to rinse it off once applied. I do have oily scalp but they said this oil is pretty much for all types of hair. It is also for the use of anti hair fall and strengthen your hair roots and scalp! Yummy! Right after the oil hair massage, washed it and blow dried it! My hair smells incredible! Very light and very smooth too! I could not imagine having this kind of experience as this shampoo is 100% herbal and usually with herbal shampoos, it tends to make the hair quite hard and unmanageable.

bbq 020 edit

We were also being treated with some yummy kuehs as well! How colorful the kueh looks like in there! I just could not resist it by having the famously Kueh Lapis. I love kueh lapis! hehe

bbq 027 edit

After all of the lucky bloggers have done their hair transformations, it is the time where we have some hair consultation with David (David is actually the Business Manager for Rupini’s. Sorry for the wrong information) Justin, a hair stylist from Shear Perfection Salon. He picked a few of us girls and commented on how they could get a hair cut that is suitable for their face and so on. He also discussed with us the latest fall trends, the latest hair color trends and the latest hair type for fall trends. David told us that ombre is still in for hair color. I never colored my hair before so I am not quite sure if I would want to do it. haha. He also said that the fall hair trends would be braids and also short pixie hair. Wow.

Maybe my hair was okay with me so he did not picked me. I was also a bit shy to volunteer myself. Haha. Well, no worries I could see David again as he gave all of us a Free Intensive Treatment for 1st 80 Customers with 20% Off coupon.

bbq 029 edit

Shasha looks a bit scared when David Justin asked for a scissors as he jokingly wants to cut her hair, giving a little bit layered style haha :P

bbq 023 edit

Some last speech from Shireen, Sugar & Spice Communication on that day.

And again I would really like to thank you Himalaya Herbals for this opportunity. Thanks to The Butterfly Project Malaysia as well for giving me this chance to go out and have fun and be independent! You do not know how much I love driving here and there back again and most importantly, I made new friends. Really. I really made new friends! And I am loving it!

P/S : Since the event day, I have been using this shampoo every single day. Although it is actually not a good thing to do, shampoo every single day, but my hair just needs to be shampooed. No other excuses. But I noticed that my hair has not have that huge and sudden fall anymore. I am not making this up. Even on my brush, my hair does not loose that many anymore! I am a HAPPY GIRL!

*Liana,Ayu,Me & Shasha*

bbq 003 edit

Lastly, we were given some freebies from Himalaya and also Rupini’s Beauty Consultant which was a gift of beauty of Hot Oil Massage voucher and also a FULL SIZED Shampoo and hair cream from Himalaya with a CUTE bag. :)

BOTD–Sleek Vintage Romance Palette

ahadday 016 edit

Well, being a sucker for Sleek Makeup eye shadow, oh no the correct word is being a sucker for any eye shadow palette, I am so needing this new palette from Sleek Makeup. I just could not resist it when I saw the colors. But I do not just simple buy them. I look at reviews, I read blogs, I see the swatches and then, I decided to get one for myself as well. I just could not resist them.

ahadday 018 edit

The palette looks exactly the same as other Sleek Makeup palette. Black plastic material, with huge mirror and a dual ended sponge applicator.

ahadday 019 edit

Look at those gorgeous and wearable colors! So wonderfully match and made for romance eye look is it? I love wearable colors like this as it has some very cool tone red/berry colors, with some cool tone blue and also gold. Not to forget some bronze and copper as well. Love it!

The names of the eye shadow are also more towards romance and places in this world that could be some romance spot as well such as Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Monte Carlo. Those rich and expensive places! :) And if you could actually see, the names are in sequence of how people would fall in love. Be Pretty in Paris and then she meet someone in Madrid, then she has this feeling of court in Cannes, so she went to have a little bit of Romance in Rome. After a while, she was being Propose in Prague!

And then the next chapter begins! A Vow in Venice, then they decided to be Marry in Monte Carlo! After that they have their Honeymoon in Hollywood and be in such a Bliss in Barcelona. Surely they will be Forever in Florence and fall in Love in London.

Even the first alphabet for every letters in the name are the same! Like, Pretty in Paris. P and P! They have gone so far with this palette! But the price is still the same. :)

ahadday 020 editahadday 022 edit

See the colors? Very vibrant and so so so pigmented! This is without any primers what-so-ever and I took this photo at night time. :)

My personal favorite color is Marry in Madrid, Honeymoon in Hollywood, Court in Cannes and Lust in LA. Very pretty, very gorgeous and very pigmented indeed! The texture of the shadow is quite buttery and silky. It has a little bit of fall outs, especially if you are working out with some high shimmering shadow such as Honeymoon in Hollywood. The shadows tends to be a little bit powdery as well but it is SUPER EASY to blend! Love the buttery and silky effects!

5 stars

I just have to give this palette 5 stars rating as I SUPER love the colors, the texture, the names, the palette and the price. It’s affordable! But I must warn you that this is a LIMITED EDITION palette. I purchased this palette earlier this month, so if you are reading this in the year 2014, you might not going to get this palette anymore. ;)

BOTD–TopShop Eye Crayon Pencil

003 edit

Back to BOTD entry girls! Today I would like to introduce to you my lovely under eyes / inner corner / lower lashline / waterline pencil that I have been LOVING and obsessed with now. I saw this pencil liner long ago when @StyleSuzi was promoting and using it for her under inner corner of her eyes. But she has the gold color. Mine is actually in the color named, Marble.

004 edit

I don’t really owned a lot of TopShop makeup products but I think some of it was awesome! Like this Eye Crayon pencil for instance. It is a good quality product from TopShop. I don’t usually like a brand if their major is not in cosmetics. It’s like, you sell high prices clothes (In Malaysia, topshop can be considered as a high price clothing) and then now you want to do cosmetics as well? Just like Marc Jacobs and many more. But now, my perception has changed a little bit. Although I cannot afford to purchase their clothing, I can now buy their makeup line instead. :)

006 edit

This particular MARBLE color is so gorgeous to begin with! It has a rosey gold tone which I really adore. I love rose gold so much! It is one of the reason why I did not get the gold colored ones. Apart from the lovely color, this eye crayon pencil is quite creamy and it stays put nearly all day long! (Or I should say, it lasts until my working time ends, 5:30PM) The only thing that I am not a fan of is that it is hard to blend. I mean, once I put it there, it’ll stay there. It is not as creamy as the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil but it works similar to it. You can still use it as an eye shadow base and it will work just fine. Just that mine is quite hard to blend. :)

007 edit

008 edit

As you can see from the picture above, even after a quite hard rub, I can still see that strikes of color, as it does not blend that easily. So, if you wanted to use this as a base,I suggest you to just creamed it up a bit or warm it before you use it. It’ll make a GREAT eye shadow base I tell you! As it stays put all day long! :)

4 stars

I give it a FOUR star rating because of it’s quite hard to blend. But other thing are just perfect to me. For my skin tone, this makes such a great under eye highlight, inner corner highlight and waterline coloring as this color will pop out your eyes like nobody business! Instead of gold which is quite hard looking on my skin, this is more towards the nearly having nothing underneath my eyes. Just a glitch of shimmer onto it.

TEXTURE & COLOR!

It has a creamy but very hard to blend kind of texture. Has a slight shimmer to it but not over powering. The color is more towards ROSE GOLD color but once blended, it’ll be more like a champagne color.

WHERE TO BUY?

TopShop is having a 20% discount if you purchase 2 items. While time lasts!

Age and number

Hello pretty ladies and handsome gentleman. Today has been a great day so far! Went to Bangsar for an event by Himalaya (will blog about that later) and then just relax at home for a while then boyfie Irfan came and fetched me up and we went to out boss’s house for a BBQ food open house. So far, it has been one of the greatest Saturday of this month so far.

Well, few days back I did mentioned my age on Instagram. And everybody was shocked to see that I am 27. Well, not everybody obviously. Some of my friends. They said I do not look like 27 years old at all. HAHA. Well, I am not someone who is always worried about my age and all that and I never count actually and never ever feel old. But recently, when I am at the Butterfly Project event, everybody there was so young looking and so slim and has nice body, I feel old. I have huge body frame and I am quite tall. Not to say that I am proud of it, I feel rather kind of shy and less confident when it comes to meeting gorgeous people with gorgeous body. I feel like I am an alien or a giant girl. Lately, I have that feelings of being old. Well, some say age is just a number. Some say age defines who we are and our level of maturity. I say wrong. I am 27 years old this year. That is old. But, I do have a young heart (Well, at least I do hope so) and I hope that people wont be having the feeling of nausea when I try to act or be cute. HAHA.

* Is it legal for a 27 years old to take pictures like this? I say YES! :P *

You can do it 2 weeks before your period come or 2 weeks after your period.

You need/can consult the staff first before doing the waxing. Please be honest and answer every questions truly. The staffs are very friendly and professional. Don’t worry. :)

Does the waxing skin area gets red and itchy after few days?

I did not experience any itchy or redness or painfulness at all after few days. It’s all aooookayy! :)

How long does it take for the hair to grow back?

Usually it takes about 3-4 weeks, but you are encourage to do another waxing treatment after 6-8 weeks. Once the hair is a little bit longer.
