Yes! I know! I have not been updating my blog for quite some time. Been very very very busy with work, travelling here and there and have not get the time to sit down and blog about things. Well, worry no more. Today I shall be doing a blog post on the newest BOTD which is the Samantha Chapman’s Real Techniques brushes! I have been trying to get my hands on these brushes for so long but it was quite expensive here in Malaysia. So I thought why not just browse through ebay and give it a try. So I purchase the Core Collection and the Starter Eye Kit.

These are the Core Collection brushes. Basically, core collection covers mostly on the face brushes. It contains 4 basic face brushes such as contour brush, foundation brush, buffing brush and detailer brush which can be use as a concealer brush. The bristles are so soft and I believe that it is a taklon bristles and not synthetic. I am planning to purchase their synthetic brushes as well soon. It’s the brushes with white handle. Can’t wait! :P

The next collection that I purchased was the Eye Starter Kit. Well, mainly I think the Travel Essentials Kit is not worth it to purchase as it only has 3 brushes in it and I think that’s for people with minimal makeup application so I bought this one instead. This is the eye brushes and if you are a make up junkie like I do, you would know that there is no basic eye makeup brushes around.  For eye, you at least need more than 3 different brushes to complete the eye makeup. So, these are not I would say, a basic eyeshadow kit. They should have a blending brush then I can say it is basic. But I am so IN LOVE with the Base Shadow Brush so much! It’s just so easy to apply and yes, it gives a pixel perfect makeup to my eye makeup. Love this one so much and I just could not know how I would live with it now. :( I must get a back up for this one alone but they did not sell it separately. :(

These brushes come in with a black brush case which is very essentials for travelling and packing. It could also become a brush stand (as per picture above) and you can display your brushes onto your makeup table or even at the hotel table as well. Easy to see the brushes and easy to use. The only problem that I encounter while using these cases are the dirtyness. It could get quite dirty from the products on the brush and that’s what I just don’t really like about it. But overall, the brushes are super fantastic!

Overall, I give these brushes 5 star ratings as I just love it and it’s star 5affordable if you purchase it online rather than at some beauty store in Malaysia (SHINS). They just sell it wayyyy to expensive! You can get it online at iHerb.com or at ebay.
