Dear Friends. Assalamualaikum. This would be my first entry for 2017 and i am gladly to choose Colourpop as my first BOTD entry this year. I purchased a lot of Colourpop cosmetics last year (towards the end) and was super amazed by its selection and choices. I love their Super Shock Shadows and was also really in love with their Lippie Stix more than their UML (i know...shocking!)
Today, i would like to just post a haul entry (not review) on their collection of Love Line Super Shock Shadows.
This set has 4 full sized eye shadows, each has different finishing. Satin, Matte, Pearlized and Metallic. It is a very good set if you would like to see on their pigmentation of each shadows. I know Colourpop is very famous for their shadows and lippies.
The selection of colours are also awesome! Super perfect for everyday use and office use. Not too bright and mostly are neutral colours.
Lets start with the first color, TRUTH. This is a satin finishing eye shadow color. Very suitable to apply on its own or to apply at the inner corner of the eye to create more sparkle.
The second shade is Sequin. This is metallic finishing. As the color is quite tanned, it is hard to notice the swatch on the back of my hand. Nevertheless, this is a very nice neutral color. If you are as tanned as me, you may use this to highlight your brow bone. Awesome colour!
The third shade is BRADY. This is the only matte finishing shade inside the palette. The shade is more on mauve brown shade. super buttery and very suitable to blend into crease area to create depth.
Last but not least, STATIC is the Pearlized finishing shadow. Quite pigmented and a very nice shade to create a smokey eye. Basically, all the shadows inside this set can be used to create a brown smokey eye.
If you are into neutral colors, brownish shades, these are the best set to have from Colourpop. For USD 18 (not including postage to MY) while if you get it separately, it costs USD 20 (USD 5 per shadow).
