I was being invited by The Royal Chulan Kuala Lumpur for a food tasting back in November 2018 and i was shocked to see the food display that they had for Christmas and New Year this year. The food that they were offering this year were incredibly amazing!

Happy Birthday dear Marissa Naureen! You are 1 year old today. I still could not believe that it has been a year of me becoming a mother and yet, i am still learning from time to time. Looking forward towards more adventure with you little princess. You can be whatever you want to be, we will all support you. Be creative, be bold, be a dancer, a pious woman, what ever it may be. Que Sera-sera.

Your birthday cake, Marissa is a chocolate ganache birthday cake with a shape of a cat face ordered from non other than aunty zizi bakes. :) 

No big party this year. Maybe we will throw a big party next year insyaAllah.

Assalamualaikum and good day all! I just want to ask, have you ever thought of a creation that could eliminate the usage of sticker onto your baby's bottle just to write their names on? Especially if you are sending your baby to a nursery or baby sitter's home, you need to label all of the bottles so that it would not mixed up with others. As you know, the bottles available in the market are quite limited and most mommies did have the same bottle brands as well. This bottle label is also very convenient for breastfeeding mommies to label the BF bottles. 

I thank the Baby Koala team for letting me to take this bottle label for a test for nearly 1 month. Since i am actually sending my baby to a nursery, this bottle label is super important. Since i only have one (will purchase the rest of the bottle label soon!) label, i can only label one bottle as of now. I usually bring 2 bottles to the nursery.

Ibis Hotel, Melacca - My own experience

Assalamualaikum wbt and good day all! Just want to share with my readers on my current experience at Ibis Hotel, Melaka last weekend. How was it? Well, you have to read it until the end of this blog entry to find out. Hehe. Just to be sure, this is NOT a sponsored trip ya. I paid for all the services and also the room price as well. Ibis Hotel, Melaka located right at the Little India in Jalan Bendahara. It takes about 10 minutes walk to Jonker Street if you love going there at night. But for us, since we have this little monster with us we decided to take a car and park. Well, it takes about 10 mins from the hotel to find a parking spot and walk to the starting of the Jonker Street. It was my first time going to Jonker Street at night time. They sell loads of things from handbags, to baby bibs, to toys, towels and many more! Thank God that it is a non smoking street but i still can see few people smoking cigarettes.

Cara-Cara Hilangkan Kesan Gam Gajah

Assalamualaikum wbt semua. Hari ni Anfaal nak share satu benda, a very simple and short post je. Hari Ahad malam yang lepas, Anfaal ada guna gam gajah untuk tampal balik lamp shade yang pecah. Macam biasa lah kan bila dah over confident kan tak ada nya nak pakai glove semua bila main dengan gam gajah. Haha. 

So al kisahnya, tangan kiri Anfaal habis kena gam gajah, siap melekat kat base lampu tu lagi. HAHAHA. Kena tarik sikit baru boleh lepas from the lamp. Alkisahnya, habis lah semua jari jari kena gam gajah yang dah makan kulit. Husband Anfaal nak kikis je pakai pisau but ai dunwan. Dengan pisau pisau ni i fobia sikit hahhaa..Husband Anfaal memang suka pisau-pisau ni. Pisau lipat lah pisau itu pisau ini semua ada.

Umee U-Cool Pendulum Cup (The Penguin cup) Review

Assalamualaikum and good day everybody! We are in the October month and my daughter is now 10 months old! OMG! What? I still can’t believe it. She’s turning 1 in about 2 months time! I still have not planned her 1st birthday party yet, the theme, cakes, venue. OMG! Haha.

Just see how cute is this straw cup? It looks exactly like a penguin, right? My daughter is now liking this cup as her meal time drink. At one time she begin to get attached to it. My daughter she really likes drinking plain water. I know it is not good to give a lot of plain water to the baby as it does not have any nutrients in it compared to breastmilk / formula milk so that is why i only give her plain water during meal time and that she would still be drinking her milk after meal time.

Pak John Steamboat & BBQ @ IOI City Mall

Assalamualaikum semua! Okay i would like to update my steamboat experience at Pak John Steamboat & BBQ in IOI City Mall. I have actually been to Pak John Steamboat at @Curve before this and when i have the chance to try out the steamboat at IOI City Mall, i could not refuse it!

The restaurant is located at Ground Floor outside the mall. There's an outside seating and also inside. I would always prefer to eat inside, well a mother would always prefer to eat where there's less smokers around right? hehe.

The party was held at Happ Cafe in Mutiara Tropicana. I have never been to the cafe before but when i was there i was stunned! So, i bought this Galifornia (travel size) at Sephora in Genting Highland last year with the same thought that i will be liking this as well.

Dear readers. If you are aware, saya memang adalah seorang pengguna produk Mary Kay and I am also one of their Beauty Consultant (BC). Nak story sikit to all of you my readers out there. I know ramai yang tertanya-tanya, Mary Kay ni is it really works? Memang berkesan ke pakai Mary Kay? Mary Kay ni bukan macam MLM tu ke? Well, all of your questions (hopefully) will be answered in this blog post pasal Mary Kay. Alhamdulillah kulit muka Anfaal dari dulu sampai sekarang agak elok. Masa remaja dulu-dulu, memang pakai cleanser tapi tak ingat cleanser apa cuma moisturizer tu pakai Olay. Dari awal remaja sampai lah kertu ni pakai Olay sebelum tukar ke Tabita. Ya. Anfaal salah seorang yang terjebak dengan Tabita. Pakai Tabita dalam setahun lepas tu terus keluar jerawat yang super scary! Tak banyak amik gambar time ni sebab confidence level terus drop. Gambar semua yang bermakeup sahaja. Baby M : Diarrhea and Nappy Rash

Asslamualaikum and good day to all of my lovely readers. My daughter has been affected by a mild diarrhea since last Saturday. It was first happened during our lunch+tea time at Chili's KLCC. All of a sudden, her dress were full with poops and it was runny and yellowish (do not attempt to even try to visualize it). Thank God i did bring an extra 1 set of shirt and pants so we went to the changing room near Mothercare and have her nappy and clothes changed there. 

It was still okay at that point of time. We thought it was just a normal poopy time since she pooped once almost everyday and it was usually at the point of time. (Yes most mommies know their kid's poopy time. Haha).

My DD (Dear Daughter) was not feeling very well and i had to really take care of her for these past few days. I skipped working and went to the hospital last Monday for an emergency case. Alhamdulillah she is recovering now and hopefully will be 100% recovered soon.

Assalamualaikum wbt semua. Entri kali ni amat personal, but still i think perlu dicoretkan untuk membuang segala kedukaan, segala yang terbuku, tersirat akan disuratkan di dalam coretan ini. Pertama sekali, Al-Fatihah buat arwah Mumtazila. Kenalan rapat sejak zaman Uniten. Masih segar di ingatan, kali pertama bertemu dalam kelas malam. Tak berapa nak ingat course apa but it is one of the elective courses lah kan since kelas malam. Semua gambar dah diedit untuk menutup aurat arwah.

Mumtaz, ko ingat tak lagi waktu gambar kat bawah ni. Ni masa open house rumah Sir TJ. Ingat tak kita duduk lepak sampai malam, rasanyalah. Sebab aku ingat, kita tolak kereta Sir TJ (time tu kereta Waja kot) sebab tiba-tiba tak boleh nak start. Kenangan beb ni. Dah lama sangat gambar first (atas) ni. 

Gambar bawah tu pulak, kat open house Raya rumah kau. Aku tak pernah miss datang kan walaupun ada yang kadang-kadang tu terlambat. Walau aku tau makanan maybe tak de tapi aku datang bukan sebab nak makan sangat, aku datang sebab nak jumpa ko beb. Aku tau, ko tiap-tiap tahun mesti jemput aku datang open house rumah ko. Next year, tak ada lagi lah dapat aku datang open house rumah ko beb. :( Tak pe, aku datang 'rumah selamanya' ko yer. Aku janji, Mumtaz. Al-Fatihah.

I was super busy this morning and Alhamdulillah my father just discharged from the hospital today so i have to settle his discharge forms and all. Throughout this Hari Raya celebration, I have been using the Maybelline FIT ME Matte Poreless Foundation for this whole month and i am loving it. Although i do not have oily skin (the foundation is for normal to oily skin) but still i love it. Actually, i have used the foundation before this. I bought from USA (cannot remember which online shop) but because of the shade color is different (online shopping it is hard to find the right shade) i seldom use it.

Asslamualaikum wbt and good day all! Today i will be sharing with you my thoughts on Pigeon PPSU Wide Neck bottle, Marissa's fave bottle now. Most of the bottle that we owned are actually wide neck. Pigeon also has other ranges of bottle from glass to PPSU to PP. I personally choose PPSU which stands for Polyphenylsulfone, which is a high performance polymer that has a high heat resistance and excellent durability. I can rest assured you that my husband dropped the bottle once on a tar road and there's no crack at all! Amazing!

Asslamualaikum wbt and happy Monday. Since it is Monday today, i would like to start my day by doing a bit of an eye makeup today. I have been neglecting my eye shadows for so long as i do not have that vibe to even do my makeup few months back. Since I came back from my maternity leave, my makeup mood has been in a bell curve mode. Some days i am up to it and some days are just a no no.

I bought these pressed powder a year ago. It is just that i am too lazy to do my makeup, or maybe the colors that i bought are just not my everyday colors hence it took me a while to just do my makeup with the color choices that i made.

Well, I have been to a non makeup shopping spree since i gave birth to my baby girl last December. All these while, my money goes into her items, bottles, clothes, toys, bottles, accessories, strollers (yes. strollersssss. Haha). So, no more money for me to buy my own thing. Even a piece of lipstick. Before Ramadhan this year, i have decided to purchase two lipsticks from the drugstore. I was so outdated on this new makeup and what is in trend and what is not so i just took something from the Maybelline counter and paid for them.

Assalamualaikum and happy day everybody! I am trying to catch up back again on blogging about beauty products. I have tons and tons of makeup items which are not being used and only being used several times. Recently i have tried to pick up my momentum in doing my makeup back again. Simple makeup will do to the office. Sometimes i do my makeup like a drag queen but sometimes i just feel like not doing my makeup at all. I guess July would be the time where i wanted to do my makeup full force, except when i am not out and staying in the office/home whole day. Since becoming a mother, i have sleep deprivation and to that, i have some dark circles going on now with my under eye. So with that, even with a ton of makeup applied I still can see (and also feel) my dark circle is there. Therefore, i need some under eye brightener straight away!

A very cheap and super affordable eye shadow but not lacking in its pigmentation. It was told that the eyeshadow is matte finished but it seems like a satiny finished to me. First Hari Raya with Marissa Naureen plus some 'Hotel Drama'

Assalamualaikum semua. Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Tak terlambat lagi kan? Hehe. Raya kan sebulan. Sabtu ni pun dah ada 3 rumah nak kena pergi open house. InsyaAllah akan cuba untuk pergi semua, kalau tak sempat tu maaf yer. So bila sebut pasal hari raya ni, tahun ni we all first time raya dengan anak sendiri. Yes. Orang kata, sindrom mak mak ni memang nak baju anak semua serba lengkap dulu baru tengok baju mak. Tahun ni tak de lah baju zalora lagi macam tahun tahun lepas. No more emel lah, rizalman lah, jovian lah what so ever. Tahun ni beraya dengan baju MC Vogue je! Kelas! Hehe. Penjimatan abadi plus baju dia pun okay apa! Boleh pakai pergi office. Super versatile. Baju Marissa we all cari dulu tau, gigih pergi Shah Alam kat seksyen 7 sana. Nak pergi butik Baby Gosh sebab kat situ je ada jual baju raya baby yang I tau. Murah and tak payah nak sesak kat mall.

Well, although i am still not in my Raya mode as yet (we are still waiting for our Bonus news.haha) but then I can't wait for my lil bub to enjoy her first balik kampung trip! Berbuka Puasa at TPC KL (KLGCC) - Family Time

Assalamualaikum wbt and good day all! Well, this would be my 4th year celebrating Ramadhan with my husband. 2nd year as husband and wife, and before that as a couple. We never failed to made a reservation at TPC KL (or known as KLGCC previously) and it has been like a yearly routine for us to break fast at that place. I just love the ambiance, the food, the setup and the crowd. All dress up very poised and came in with the latest trends. For those who are still single and mingle, this would be the place for you to might be meeting your future husband/wife from a high class society. Haha. Well, I am lucky enough to have my wonderful husband with me throughout this 4 years and this year we have an additional family member joining the tradition as well, Marissa. 

Cara untuk kurangkan batuk & kahak bayi [Self Experience]

Asslamualaikum mummy and daddy. Nak share experience lagi ni. Banyak self experience i'll try to blog if possible. Well, last Friday masa balik taska, Marissa is a bit batuk with phlegm back again. Actually, batuk dah baik nearly 2 weeks but then suddenly datang balik so i was a bit worried kenapa tak baik lagi. Ye lah, anak sakit sedih lah kan. Especially bila malam, batuk tak berhenti. Sayu je tengok. So, before this dah ada google macam macam home remedy sebab tak nak makan ubat doctor. I did asked some of my closest friends too on what they do. Then on Saturday, i did what Google told me to do dan berikhtihar lah. Dengan Marissa pakai baju shark doo doo dia, with her daddy jaga, mak pun hempas pulas kat dapur nak buat home remedy No.1.

Well, since almost everyone had watched The Avengers : Infinity War and we felt a bit left behind, i took the initiative to search for a kids friendly cinema and to my surprise, there are quite a few in Klang Valley area. Tried to go for TGV but Avengers are only screening in kids friendly cinema at Penang so found out that MBO also has a kids friendly cinema named KECIL and there's Avengers screening at The Starling Mall, PJ. So last Monday, i bought us a ticket for Tuesday afternoon screening. 

At first, it was quite confusing. I mean, i am new to MBO mobile app and to just choose the package is quite jumble to me. They have several choices of seats and there is no explanation on the differences of the seats. I called their customer service number but no one pick up (well, they need to improve on this i think) so i tried my best luck to ask them via FB Messenger as i an see that they have 100% responsive mark. Well, no wonder it is 100% responsive. They are using chat bots but still, my questions have been answered.

BOTD : Kerasys Deep Cleansing Shampoo [Just cause my hair is freaking oily!]

Assalamualaikum wbt and good day all! This would be the longest test review i have ever done i guess. I have been using this shampoo for about a year now since my last hair cut after my wedding. My scalp used to be super oily now but with this great shampoo, the oiliness reduces dramatically and i really am in love with this shampoo. Actually, the hair dresser recomended me to purchase their scalp cleansing shampoo but it costs RM 150 ish in which i think is super expensive for a shampoo. After the hair cut, i can still remember that we went to Watsons and scout for a scalp cleansing shampoo and found this! The costs is much lesser than RM 150. This one costs about RM35 - RM 38 (depending where you buy them) and not all drug stores have them. So far, i noticed that only Watsons and Aeon Wellness is selling them. 

Vaccination + Coughing baby [Self experience]

Assalamualaikum wbt semua. Hari ni masuk hari ke 5 berpuasa. Sekejap je rasa kan. Nanti dah nak raya lagi 3 minggu. Whaaat? Haha. Baju raya pun tak beli lagi. Untuk Marissa je dah ada. Tahun ni tema warna ikut baju Marissa so nanti mak ayah dia nak kena cari 3 jenis color baju. Fuhh! Haha. So, saja nak cerita pengalaman cucuk vaksin untuk Marissa. Since she's now 5 months old, last week we went for her third and final vaccination for DTaP/IPV/HIB/ Hep B/7vPCV and Rotavirus. So since we had a bit of a drama during her second vaccination, kali ni lepas je cucuk memang bagi PCM terus so that in a hope tak kena demam. A lot of my friends told me to do this so, this time around i did it. Alhamdulillah, tak ada demam so far walaupun badan a bit suam.

Launching of Gabag Infinite Breastpump @ Butik Tateh Bangi

Assalamualaikum wbt semua. Last Sunday, we all went to the launching of a new product by Gabag at Butik Tateh Bangi. Since it's nearby my house i accepted the invitation. Why not kan sebab Anfaal ada barang yang nak kena ambil kat Butik Tateh jugak so just one go. :D We arrived at about 2.10pm. The theme was yellow so semua orang pakai a bit yellow here and there.

Just look at the three of us. Semua baju baru okay! Haha. Sebabnya mak ayah micha pun tak ada baju warna kuning. Nasib baik Sarah from butik Tateh inform awal. Boleh shopping! yay! Micha's sunny dress from Mothercare, btw.

Assalamualaikum wbt friends! Today i feel like i want to share my thoughts and experience from being a new mother to just a mother. Yes. There's definitely some huge differences between these two phrases at least to me. When Marissa was born, i was still thinking that my life is not going to change one bit. Well, it changed 360 degree! Haha. To top it off, i am the only child in my family and i never held any newborn baby before, i did not know what to expect and i have ZERO experience in handling a baby. I just don't. So, when Marissa first trip to home from the hospital and her first night at home was a disaster.

Assalamualaikum wbt semua. Hari ni Anfaal nak share our experience handling baby with sore throat and fever after vaccination. Last month, Micha had her 3rd month vaccination at Prince Court Medical Centre (PCMC). She had her second shot of DTaP, Pneumococcal and Rotavirus which costs us few hundred ringgit for all those. I mean, we do have a cheaper version or maybe free ones but since we have Micha's record at PCMC and it was her paed who gave the shot, we thought just go with it first at PCMC. Anything happened (touch wood), we could easily trace back in their record.

Cara hilangkan selsema anak - Pengalaman sendiri

Assalamualaikum semua. I know it is Monday but do not be mundane about it ya. Be happy, create positivity. Anak baru lepas baik selsema, Alhamdulillah. I do not want to blame anyone on her sickness and wealthiness. Cause who to blame? It is all in the plan of Allah. Last week, my daughter is not well (again) as she got caught with flu. Habis semua remedies dah google and semua pun ada sebut this one home remedy yang berkesan untuk anak mereka. So, i was wondering, can i try this? Will it work on my daughter? Kita usaha dan ikhtihar saja. 

Tateh Fashion Show 2018

Assalamualaikum wbt semua. Alhamulillah everything went well last Saturday. I was quite afraid on bringing my little one to her first (and mine too!) event for this year. Since my husband is supportive of me being a blogger mom now, he accompanies me to take care of my little pwincess during the event. 

As usual, whenever she's in a car ride, she'll fall asleep like nobody's business. If it is the time for her to sleep, she'll sleep whenever and where ever she feels to. I am extremely happy that she's now behave like a 3 months old. She laughed like mad when her daddy kisses her and always like to smile nowadays. 

BOTD : Nicka K Perfect Nine NUDE Eye shadow Palette

Assalamualaikum & Happy Day all! It's been a long time since my last BOTD post. It has always been about my little one nowadays. Just because i also rarely buys makeup stuffs now and rarely joins any event. But now i hope that i can be on track again in blogging and attending events so that my blog won't be left out alone.

I was being introduced to this palette by a friend of mine at the office. She said that the palette is super affordable and quite pigmented at the same time. Since i am super lazy to do my makeup before this, purchasing this palette before i gave birth to my daughter is my last makeup purchase i guess. Haha. See how long i did not buy any makeup, be it cheap or expensive. Haha.

Review : Simple Parenting Doona Stroller & Car Seat

Asslamualaikum wbt and happy Monday all! I think it is time for me to write my honest review on this hyped up stroller & car seat. This would be based on my personal experience and not affiliated with other opinions made by friends and families. 

As most of you mothers and fathers know, Donna is super expensive for a stroller & car seat that can only be used probably up to 1 1/2 years old but since i am a first time mother and i like new things especially things that can make me move around easier as i love going out to shop and stroll and i hate cramping inside the elevator with a huge stroller.

Doona Stroller and Car Seat

Assalamualaikum wbt all! I know i rarely blog nowadays. Still trying to cope with the fact that i am already a mother and, my little one (LO) is currently occupying my day and night time now. She is nearly 2 months old next week and she thought that she's now much older and matured. Haha. Her behavior has started to shown little by little. As nearly two months old now, she is now lacking of morning naps and more sleep during night time which is cool but not so cool when i wanted to leave her for work. Well, i am still trying to find a baby sitter whom can come to my house and stay with my mom for half day. If any of you knows anyone who can help me on that, please contact me. :)

Well, since she's nearly 2mo, i wanted to bring her out more often and show her the world. She likes to focus on things and is quite attentive. With the current stroller that she has, it is quite big and huge. I am now eyeing on the Doona Car Seat and Stroller and hopefully this could help to ease the troublesome of having a big bulky stroller.

 

Bottle feeding

Assalamualaikum friends and families. Baby M is already 1 month old today! I have been doing a lot if baby shopping via online during my confinement days which will end soon. And most of my purchases are baby bottles and soothers. 

At first, during my pregnancy months, we bought Avent bottles, Suavinex and Comotomo brands cause we thought that she would definitely have a brand that she don’t like. We have tried Avent Classic (bought at Tesco) but the bottle is not colic friendly enough. She choked a bit if she drinks milk using that bottle. 

Next, we tried Comotomo since we saw a lot of parents especially new parents feeding their baby using Comotomo. I kid you not this is not a cheap bottle. I kinda like the silicone feel of the bottle and how cute it looks while feeding baby. Haha. And we appreciate its very wide neck, easier to pour EBM milk or even FM! The teat looks like mother’s breast too. Maybe to avoid nipple confusion i guess. I love love love love this bottle and my baby seems to really like it too! Oh wow very high maintenance lah you! Haha. 

After Comotomo, i know being the first time mother i bought another new bottle for her. Hahaha. Well, i guess i was bored and need to do some online shopping. I bought the latest bottlw for her which is from Dr Brown’s range. Since my baby is kinda gassy and i suspect she has reflux so i thought this bottle could help a bit. At first, she was okay with the bottle, no problem feeding what so ever. Then, after few feeding, she kinda of rejecting the bottle. So, i guess i wont be using this bottle for a while. But it does help her on the reflux so i was a bit sad on that part. 

Well, my motherhood journey is still going on and i am still experimenting all sorts of likes and dislikes of my daughter. Well, still a loooooong way to go!

Assalamualaikum wbt and happy 2018 friends! Wow! Super fast a year has ended right before my eyes! I still can remember what i did last year 2017 new years day. My fiance (that time) and i went to Genting Highland for the first time since we got to know each other. That time it was still the ‘old’ Genting Highland. The Indoor Theme Park was still very much alive and functional. 

2017, a lot has happened. When i say a lot, it is really a lot to even digest! First of all, changes of role at the office. Changes of seating place, huge reorg at the office. Then, personal life of change of status from single to married! Yay! And then Honeymoon time! First time went to Italy without parents but with husband! Just strolling around Rome-Milan-Como-Turin just the two of us. Not afraid of anything at all! We did not even take any tours (except for catacombs tour) and explore the area ourselves. 

Then LIMA 2017 @ Langkawi! I have been wanting to go to LIMA for so long, again another first time for me and husband! Watching airplanes, doing their acrobatics actions and all. Love it! Will most likely go again in the next LIMA event in 2019. 

Then, i got pregnant! Could not believe it but believe it or not! Haha. So nine months later, a baby girl was born on 12.12.17. :) Throughout my pregnancy, i encountered a lot of  happiness and tenses too from work. But whenever i see my husband around, all these tenses fades away. You can read my 36 hours of labour on my previous post. 

For 2018, i wish everyone well and much more happiness than previous years. I wish myself to be more respectful towards money and hope that i could succeed in every field that i am in. I also wish my husband a good year ahead.
