Nak makan apa kat Italy?

Assalamualaikum wbt. Ramai yang tanya, masa pergi Rome haritu, tak susah ke makan? Apa yang korang makan kat sana? Well, meh Anfaal share sikit apa yang kitorang makan kat sana. And up to you all lah if nak ikut atau tak. 

Masa pergi Italy for the first time back in 2017, memang we all bawak Brahims banyak gila but tak bawak Maggi. Haha. So this time around, we all packed banyak gila Brahims and 2 maggi and ended up makan separuh je from the whole lot Brahims and maggi kari tak bukak langsung. This is because, we found out that we could eat a vegetarian food here in Italy. Since dah start bertudung, the restaurant people understand that we are Muslims. Some still offer wine and such (Maybe ada yang pakai tudung tapi tiba tiba jadi open kat luar negara minum wine bagai haha) but we politely declined the offer. 

So, what do we eat there? Where? How do we order? Haaa, jom Anfaal share sikit tips. A basic Italian language could helped too.

Items to pack when travelling overseas with a toddler

Assalamualaikum and selamat pagi! Good morning / Boungiourno! So, recently as you may be aware, Anfaal baru je balik from Italy trip with my little ones. And i actually did watched a lot of Youtube videos on what to prepare, what to bring in and also during transit and i have gathered most of the information from these videos that i watched and also from my experience as well, i will share with you what i did packed inside the carryon luggage and what i brought with me during the trip. 

This might be lengthy so, just sit back, relaxed and read one by one. The tips may be applied to my daughter but not to your children but i feel like sharing this so that even i could refer back to this entry for future reference. 

WE MADE A MISTAKE by having a lot of things inside our carry on. We have one Duffle bag, one Stokke Jetkids and one Bugaboo Ant stroller to be carried out throughout the entire transit. First of all, our flight departed KUL at 1.45am on 26 October 2019 so Marissa should be sleeping by then. I love night flight cause i could arrive in the country at least at around noon. So, no day and time wasted there. Plus, my daughter will be sleeping (which she did!) nearly the whole entire flight so it was a bonus for us.

Assalamualaimum wbt semua! Yes. Rasa dah lama tak update blog. Haha. Maybe sebab i do not have much time to update and also not much material to share. Well, many of you all here must know (if you read my IG and FB posts) that i am a little bit obsessed with Italy. I took a part time course online on Roman Architecture and also trying to learn Italian (which i failed miserably) via Duolingo. Haha.

This trip was done solely by me, from flight tickets to hotels to train tickets and also activity. Basically, all the important itinerary are done by yours truly. Cause i know where to go, i know and love planning things ahead of time for smoother plans.

Just a simple itinerary for you to imagine what happened during our 10 days in Italy.

Fashion Valet Return Process

Assalamualaikum wbt and happy day to all! Lately i have been purchasing few items from Fashion Valet website. Not Duck scarves but few of their Duck Turbans and makeup items and also Lilit outerwear. Since, i gain weight after pregnancy last year and still have not see any signs of reducing the weight as yet, i cannot just main teka teka my baju saiz. But just because i have to trial and error,  just ordered my old body size and yes, i have to return it back cause i merely cannot fit in it. Haha. Berangan lebih!

So after i test out the items, i found out that my waist is getting bigger and my upper body is also getting larger. Haha. So i have to admit that my size is no longer UK 8. I have to at least wear UK10 now or even UK12 if i need to get the comfort out of it. As one of the return item is actually a dress that i need to wear during an event happening this week (please bear in mind that all of these happened last week, received the items and also returning it as well) i need to act fast. 

So, i googled Fashion Valet return process and found out that it was so simple. So, i just have to make sure that the return item is with its plastic wrap, tag is still there and are all well. Then, i have to just go to this website and read one by one on the steps

LENNOX #LoveYourSkin Collagen Month

Assalamualaikum and a very good day to all. I wanted to take this opportunity to share with my beloved readers, on my experience in attending the Lennox #LoveYourSkin event last month. 

Since the event was held at The Gardens, i booked a hotel room at Cititel MidValley just to make it easier for my husband and baby. They could rest in the room while i go and bake some interesting souffle for them. 

So, first things first lets talk about our skin shall we? Do you know your skin type? How do you determine your skin type? I know i do have an oily T-Zone but i sometimes do have dry patches too especially around the nose and also at the side of my mouth. With this, i could say that i do have combination of oily and dry skin as well. My oily skin does not supersede my dry skin which means my oily skin is not that oily. It is just feels like a bit greasy especially when it is hot and humid.

Assalamualaikum wbt and Good Day everybody. Just wanted to let all of you know that i am doing fine, insyaAllah. It has already been 1 week since the passing of my dad and i can now think and accept the fact that he is gone. Again, this post is not about my appa, hence i would not want to talk more about him. He will surely have a long dedicated post, perhaps part by part of post soon. 

I wanted to first and foremost thank Althea Korea for choosing me to test out their new A'Bloom mask series. I received the parcel about 1 week before Raya. That is one of the reason why the box has an Eid theme. :) This is why i love Althea so much, because of the small appreciation as such.

This year Hari Raya has been one of the saddest so far, with the passing of my dad last week on 7 Syawal 1440H (11 June 2019). I am not going to write more on his yet as, i may not be that strong to retrieve back all the memories that i have had with him. Maybe one day, i will write about my dad. My AMAZING dad.

Asslamualaikum wbt and Happy Friday semua! Since today is Friday and it will be a long weekend for us, i wanted to just update my blog today and it is something that i am super excited and started to fall in love with now. 

Have you all ever heard of the brand Yves Rocher? I did but i never tried their products. I remember i accompanied a friend of mine to one of their shop in Alamanda (now closed) and was browing through their products. If you are not familiar with the brand, Yves Rocher is a French made brand with worldwide representation. It was founded in 1959 by an entrepreneur named (and yes you guessed it!) Yves Rocher. :) 

Now this year, they are celebrating their 60 years anniversary and i received this set during the Butterfly Projects Birthday Party few weeks back. I have used this for more than a week now and i am ready to share my thoughts with everybody.

The Butterfly Project 6th Birthday Party was held at Vilej Damansara Perdana. It was my first time attending an event alone, without my daughter and husband this time around. I have joined the Butterfly Projects Community since their 2nd birthday and i would want to make a disclaimer here that this community has made my blogging days super fun and colorful. BabyM - Strollers, Strollers, Strollers

Asslamualaikum semua. As you all might know, i am a HUGE fan of baby strollers. I would say, keep em coming although i know my daughter will not be sitting on a stroller forever. Even now, she would really like to walk instead of being in a stroller as people said 'Dah dapat kaki'. But still, i would be needing stroller as she is close to 11kg now and i cannot 'dukung' her for more than 15 mins now. Will be out of breath soon. Haha.

Assalamualaikum semua. Selamat hari Selasa. Yes Dah Selasa. Or korang perfer alaahh, baru selasa. Hehe. Be positive and all the positive things will happen to you. 

Anfaal nak share sikit, pengalaman Anfaal pakai cleanser Melacep from Mary Kay ni. If you haven't noticed, I am also a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant tau. So, kalau korang rasa Anfaal share ni sebab nak untung semata, that is a wrong perception ya. Kita share benda yang bagus so that other women out there can experience it as well. 

Anfaal start pakai MelaCEP cleanser ni lepas habis pakai Botanical Effects Formula 2. Alah, yang mana kita dapat masa jadi new Beauty Consultant tu. Konon nya, nak kulit jadi lebih luminous dari yang biasa, tu yang bertukar ke Melacep pulak. 

Kalau nak tau, dulu-dulu kulit Anfaal memang putih, tapi kulit Anfaal agak dull. Ya. Orang yang ada kulit kering memang akan nampak dull je sentiasa walaupun cerah. But dengan Melacep ni, dia akan bagi kulit kita nampak lagi luminous. Macam kulit telur orang kata. 

Ni gambar 2009. Masa ni muda lagi okay. Dalam awal 20an gitu. Tapi kulit tu Ya Rabbi..haha dah lah kusam, tak reti nak bermekap bagai kan padahal pakai makeup tu yer. Masa ni kerja part time kat MYTV3 Roverz. Kerja seminggu je tapi kenal ramai kawan. Syok masa tu sampai bila tak dapat kerja tu dulu, terus down and berat badan turun sangat. Haha. 

Ni gambar September 2018. No makeup ya. Nampak tak cahaya cahaya tu? Hehe. Cuba korang tengok sendiri. Mana satu korang rasa kulit lagi sihat? Kulit mana lagi best tengok? Korang nilaikan lah sendiri. Yang mana pernah tengok kulit Anfaal depan-depan, tau lah memang kuli tak flawless, tapi kulit tak lah gelap sangat berbanding dulu kala. Kulit makin cerah dengan penggunaan MelaCEP secara berterusan. Bukan makin putih ya. I do not want a whitening agent but i need a brightening agent. Kalau makin putih, nanti leher gelap pun susah jugak kan? hehe

Ramai kata sebab faktor kamera, yang atas tu pakai DSLR ya. DSLR. Yang bawah ni pakai iphone 7plus je. Iphone tak de beauty unless kita sendiri edit lah. No edit as well tau gambar tu. hehe.

Kenapa MelaCEP ni power sangat? Nak tau tak apa ingredients dia?

Maksud MelaCEP is MELanin interCEPt. Apa benda tu? Terlalu 'doktor-doktor' sangat ni. Jom Anfaal try story secara mudah ya

Dalam struktur kulit kita, ada satu sel yang tugas dia adalah mengeluarkan warna kulit which is called Melanocyte. Melanocyte ni kerja dia keluarkan enzyme tyrosynase. Kerja enzim ni pulak is untuk converkan asid amoni jadi melanin.
So bila kita terdedah kepada matahari, sel sel kulit akan bertugas untuk protect kulit kita daripada sinaran UV. With the task of protecting our skin from UV, melanin akan produce banyak lagi bila kita under the hot sun so sebab tu lah bila kita under matahari panas, kulit akan jadi lebih gelap dan terbakar. 

Boleh faham tak? Hehe. So bila pakai MelaCEP ni, dia akan meresap ke bawah kulit kita, dan akan kacau sel melanocyte untuk control enzim tyrosinase ni darpada terjadinya melanin. Sebab tu lah skin kita akan jadi lebih cerah, kurang jeragat dan parut akan jadi pudar.

Kalau pakai one whole set MelaCEP ni, insyaAllah kulit akan jadi macam kulit telur ya. hehe. Anfaal pakai cleanser and serum je. InsyaAllah, nanti nak completekan satu range MelaCEP tu. Baru la dapat kulit sihat dan cerah. :)

Blooming With Illy 2.0 {Outdoor Photography} - Event

Asslamualaikum and happy day all! I have been trying to blog about this event for so long. Actually, it happened not so long ago but i just cant wait to share it with friends. 

If you happened to know Illy, she's a bubbly and very friendly person. I met her many years ago through blogging functions and events as well and we clicked. Although i am not as bubbly as her, i can still be friendly, okay. Haha. One thing i am excited is also to bring Marissa to a park, in which she have not been to actually.



The event was held at the Bamboo Playhouse at Taman Tasik Perdana. It has been AGES since my last visit to this Taman Tasik. Well, we are not a park person. Masa dating dulu-dulu banyak pergi tengok kapal terbang lagi dari pergi taman tasik. Haha. Or pergi Wetlands kat Sepang je.

Marissa was super excited to be at this park. It's like FREEDOM to her. She's able to walk now so it like, go and see the world time.

Sebelum ni, Anfaal pakai satu color je from this brand but now i have 4 (tinggal satu je lagi shade nak beli) shades so i could change my shades or even mix it.

Assalamualaikum wbt and happy day to all. This moment, this time i really wanted to share to all readers who has a small baby, from 6 months to approximately 4 years old. This new gadget that we have tested out is simply ah-may-zingg and affordable! Come and meet the Beblum Micro Stroller, a lightweight with compact fold stroller and i am LOVING it.



When i saw the box on top of my table, i was like..is it just this small? Super amazing with the size of it. Even my colleague is also amazed by the size of the box, how small it is! We do have Beblum Navi which have been overused. We had that stroller ever since Marissa was around 5 months old. She has been loving her Beblum Navi.

Assalamualaikum wbt and Happy New Year! I know, i am a bit late. It has been the 8th day of 2019 and i have yet to post anything inside my blog. I am trying to blog as much as possible this year, starting with this one as my fresh start. 

I do not have any new year resolution i guess. Maybe just a plan of things to do would do good for me. I really hope that this year i could fly to some places, inside or maybe even outside Malaysia. Italy still in my Dec 2019 list of place to visit. Will try to make it a reality.
